The House of Blues on the Sunset Strip in West Hollywood said farewell Monday night, but not before letting favorite sons Steel Panther shut the place down. The band rocked the house with a mix of cover songs and their original tracks, and as has become commonplace, a few guests dropped by, as well.

In the video above, Miley Cyrus, who wasn't planning on performing, and her father, Billy Ray Cyrus, took the stage to lend a hand on a cover of Def Leppard's "Pour Some Sugar on Me." The elder Cyrus also joined Steel Panther on a cover of Billy Idol's "Rebel Yell" just before his daughter came up onstage.

Other guests during the farewell show at the House of Blues included Extreme's Nuno Bettencourt, who lent his talents to The Kinks classic "You Really Got Me," 'N Sync's Joey Fatone, who sang on "Girl From Oklahoma" and "Community Property," comedian Dane Cook who joined in on a cover of Van Halen's "Panama," and porn star Ron Jeremy who lent a hand on "When the Saints Go Marching In" and "Oh! Susanna." See more performances at Yahoo! Music.

To borrow a title from one of Steel Panther's songs, the band partied like tomorrow is the end of the world. Sadly for L.A. music fans, it is the end of the line for the House of Blues on the Sunset Strip. Farewell to one of the strip's great music venues, which leaves a lot of memories behind.
