Shinedown’s latest album ‘Amaryllis’ has gone gold, moving more than 500,000 units according to the RIAA. The effort, which was released back in 2012, now joins the group’s other three albums, all of which have gone gold or platinum.

Frontman Brent Smith says, "Going gold on 'Amaryllis' is a true testament to our 'family' of fans." He added, "In a time where music and the music industry in an ever-changing enigma, we as artists and performers must always remember that there is only one boss that we all truly answer to… and it’s everyone out in the audience.  We are honored beyond belief to have such an amazing fanbase to get us to the next chapter.”

To celebrate their gold certification and as a thank you to their fans, the Florida rockers have a wide variety of special offers available now at the official Shinedown website here.

‘Amaryllis’ debuted at number four on the Billboard 200 chart back when it was released in 2012. It spawned the singles ‘Bully,' ‘Unity’ and ‘Enemies,’ all which hit number one on the rock charts.

Shinedown are currently working on the follow-up to their latest album. In addition, they have teamed up with Darren Doane, who directed their videos for ‘Devour,’ ‘Sound Of Madness,’ ‘Bully,’ ‘Enemies’ and ‘I’ll Follow You’ for a full-length feature film which will accompany their new album. The effort is expected to arrive sometime in 2015.
