According to Business Insider, researchers at the University of Sussex in England studied 1,500 women, and had them rate how attractive musicians were, but at different stages of their monthly cycles.

They found women are very attracted to men with musical ability in general, because it is a sign of good genetics.

They also found when women were at the most fertile stage, they were only interested in short-term sexual relationships with musicians.

When women were out of the most fertile stage, they still wanted the musicians, but were interested in a long-term relationship.

In short, women always want to have sex with musicians, but while they are fertile, they don't care if its a one-time thing.
