Scientists Have Discovered They Can Grow Teeth Out of Human Pee

Speaking of yellowing of the teeth, how scientists even came up with the idea to try this definitely makes you scratch your head in wonder.

According to the BBC, scientists in China at the Guangzhou Institutes of Biomedicine and Health have figured out how to grow human teeth out of human urine.

They found that urine has stem cells, and when these stem cells are harvested properly in lab mice, the mice were able to grow the beginnings of real teeth.

This is still a long way from being a possibility for people who have lost their teeth, and you will not be able to use a pee mouthwash to grow a set yourself either.

Researchers say this is the first step in figuring out how to actually regenerate human teeth though.

No word yet on whether this method of growing teeth will result in a quicker yellowing of the new teeth.
