It never hurts to legitimize your movie with rock stars when you have a rock and roll story to tell, and a number of musicians have signed on to take part in the upcoming film ‘The Bridge.’

Ministry frontman Al Jourgensen is the latest to sign on for a role in the film, joining the previously announced Sin Quirin of Ministry, Def Leppard‘s Joe Elliott, Thin Lizzy‘s Ricky Warwick, Twisted Sister‘s Eddie Ojeda, TSOL’s Tiny and The Pixies‘ Joey Santiago.

Jourgensen, Quirin and noted rock groupie Pamela Des Barres all appear in a new video promoting the film in the video posted below.

‘The Bridge’ comes from writer / actor Bobby Field and centers on a small town music prodigy who sees his hometown band and lifelong friendships begin to crumble around him. But with his chips seemingly down, the musician begins a quest to face his fears and change his life forever.

A few of the songs from the soundtrack are already up for preview on the film’s website, including the title track, along with ‘Remember When,’ ‘Thinking’ and ‘Help Me Breathe.’
