You know someone who is very picky about grammar, but would they take it to this extreme?

The Salem Statesman Journal reports that 50-year-old Leonard Burdek of Salem, Oregon, walked into a government building last week carrying a pressure cooker and telling employees of the building he was planning to blow up their sign because it had a typo on it.

The "State of Oregon Teacher Standards and Practices Commission" had apparently forgotten the "d" in the word "and" in their name on the building which caused the man to get so upset he built a bomb to blow up the sign.

Burdek said he downloaded instructions on building the bomb online but it turns out that story was not quite true because the pressure cooker he was carrying was empty.

He was arrested for disorderly conduct.
