For those like me who have lived here all your life, Endless Horizons is one of the most well known record stores in the Permian Basin, and today marks their 40th anniversary.

The Odessa American had the story last week and told the story of when the late owner Tom Logan moved here from Arlington in 1975 and took over the old Tommy's Drive-In and Nicky's Drive-In location and opened his discount records and tapes store.  The building had been many different things in the years before Tom Logan took over, but it has not changed names since opening on July 13, 1975.

Tom Logan passed away three years ago but his son Sam Logan still keeps the legendary Endless Horizons alive and well.

Odessa College bought the property eight years ago and says the lease for Endless Horizons will run till October 31, 2023.
