Week 8 was my best week ever and even though I am starting out with a wrong pick from Thursday night's game, I feel I am on a streak and here are my picks for this week in some key games.

Byes this week: Denver, Jacksonville, New York G, Detroit, Arizona, San Francisco.

Minnesota at Dallas -  (Series Tied 14-14) With the loss by Dallas last week in the final moments to Detroit, and Minnesota still having QB issues, I think Dallas has the edge over Minnesota in this game and it is also a home game which will help if the fans decide to cause noise problems for Minnesota.

Pittsburgh at New England(Pittsburgh leads series 15-11) Pittsburgh has had their problems this year and New England has also had some great games and then had some not-so-great games also so this one is a toss up but New England always seems to pull a rabbit out of their hat at the last moment so I will go New England on this one.

Indianapolis at Houston(Indianapolis leads series 18-4) This is the Sunday Night Football game, and with Houston deciding to go with their third string QB this week and Indianapolis having some great games in the past few weeks this one is swayed toward Indy, even though I would like to see Houston come back and win with their new QB to prove me wrong.

Chicago at Green Bay(Chicago leads series 92-88-6) This is the Monday Night Football matchup and it is the longest running rivalry in pro football.  Both teams are on their way to the playoffs this season but Chicago's journey will have a slight bump in it with Jay Cutler getting hurt in last week's game and possibly out this week since he did not participate in practices this week.  Aaron Rodgers is being his usual gunslinging self and should have a good game, so I will go with Green bay on this one.
