Just a hair prior to the one-year anniversary of singer Mitch Lucker's tragic death, Suicide Silence will enter the studio during the week of Nov. 4 to record their next album. The new disc will be the first to feature new vocalist Eddie Hermida (ex-All Shall Perish) and is sure to be a landmark moment in the band's career. Producer Steve Evetts (Sepultura, the Dillinger Escape Plan, Warbringer) will be returning to the Suicide Silence fold once again as he produced the band's last album 'The Black Crown,'
Who doesn't like the Judas Priest classic 'Breaking the Law?' If you're reading this site, you probably can't name many people who don't. After watching this video, you can chalk these two kids up as the future of Priest fans!
Well, they're sweet children of someone! This video from 2011 shows a group called the Lil Rock Band, which is comprised of kids aging between 11 and 15. One of the youngest looking members even pulls double duty handling rhythm guitar and vocals!
As we are well aware, there are currently two version of Queensryche performing and releasing studio albums. This can be confusing for fans who may not keep up with music news and are more casual fans than devoted followers. Estranged singer Geoff Tate, who was fired from Queensryche by three of the founding members, recently sat down with Smashing Interviews Magazine to talk about his side of Queensryche.
Seeing a kid from the audience join Green Day onstage is a common occurrence at the band's shows and one of the coolest ways a band can directly interact with their fans. It inspires young fans, like the one in this 2009 video, to pick up an instrument and allows the band's influence to spread.
Talent shows can go two ways. Either a kid can display how much talent he or she has at something, or a kid can display how much of a lack of talent he or she has. Those in attendance have to take the good with the bad, and here we have a kid who dazzles the crowd.
It's a pretty defeating feeling when you see all these kids laying waste to an instrument at such a young age while all you can do is watch in awe. Here we have another kid who might be able to light a fire under your keister with his impressive guitar playing.
A good week for Motörhead fans just got even better! The band has already offered up a full stream of the band's new album 'Aftershock,' and now you can get your visual fix of Lemmy Kilmister and crew with the heart-stopping new video for the single, 'Heartbreaker' (watch above).
The apocalypse was supposed to happen in 2012, not 2013, right? It seems like doomsday math has always been a little off, so we have some evidence that might be more proof positive of the pending end of times than some number crunching. Pop sensation Justin Bieber was recently filmed singing along to a Metallica jam!
Yippie! It might only be Tuesday, but this week is shaping up to be a pretty stellar one so far. It has been a long wait (three years) for Motörhead fans who are used to the band's routine of cranking out a new album at least every two years since 1991. With the release of 'Aftershock' still a week away, fans can rejoice and stream the full album courtesy of Yahoo! Music (listen below).
