Talk about someone having bad luck.

According to Delaware Online, 48-year-old Travis Paul Smith of Elsmere, Delaware was driving on Sunday night and flicked a lit cigarette out of his red Chevy Monte Carlo.

But the wind somehow blew the cigarette back into his car, and set the interior on fire.

The entire car instantly went up in flames, but luckily two people ran over and pulled Smith out of the car and saved his life.

Unfortunately he had already been burned pretty badly, and he's still in the hospital with severe second- and third-degree burns.
