Work Boots: Lace Ups VS Slip Ons
One thing we have a ton of in the Basin, is work boots. If I were a boot salesman, I'm pretty sure this area would be in my top 5 picks to choose to work. Not only are we in the heart of Texas, the oilfield creates an entirely different demand. I can see why Martin Boot Company chose to be in the Basin.
Personally, when I worked in the field, I preferred slip ons. Once you broke them in, they were more comfortable, had a little space for air to let your feet breathe, and when it was muddy out, you could just slip your pant legs in the top of your boots. For me, it was a win win, but some places require lace up boots. My question is, if you had the choice between the two, would you pick lace ups or slip ons, and why?
