Former NFL player Tim Tebow is scheduled for a speaking engagement next month in Andrews during the Fellowship of Christian Athletes Field of Faith meeting. Tebow, a born-again Christian, will share some of his testimony and stories during the Oct. 19 speaking engagement at the Mustang Bowl. The commissioner's court approved a Legacy Committee recommendation Tuesday to provide $60,000 in WCS funds to pay for the speaking engagement. The event will be open to all community members at no cost.
