Of course, it could only happen in Texas! That is why everything is bigger and better in Texas. In just a short three-hour care ride you can see 7 of our state's biggest landmarks.  I didn't say a three-hour car ride from here, pay close attention, once you get to Austin, it will take you three hours from there. For you new comers to the Permian Basin, Austin is about five hours from here. Our three hour tour will begin in Austin and take us all the number one tourist attraction in Texas. Let's begin.

First stop, the Capitol of Texas, located at 1100 Congress Ave, Austin, TX. The Texas Capitol was built in 1885 and it stands taller than the US Capitol Building.

2. Ann W. Richards Congress Avenue Bridge. This bridge spans over Lady Bird Lake, named after President Lyndon B. Johnson's wife Lady Bird.  It also houses one of the largest urban bat colonies in North America. At dusk you can see millions of bats come flying out from under the bridge.

3. Hamilton Poole Reserve In Dripping Springs.  This place has made the list many times as one of the most beautiful places in the world. You will find a waterfall that cascades into beautiful blue green water. A place like no other.

4.Natural Bridge Caverns. The largest commercial caverns in Texas. Plenty of activities to do here. Don't worry you will see the signs all along the highway, so you won't miss it.

5.The Alamo! The "Shrine of Texas Liberty." Remember The Alamo." Although, Texas lost the battle at the Alamo, they went on to when the war and gain their independence from Mexico.

6. The San Antonio River Walk, Texas number one tourist attraction. Lined with great restaurants and watering holes, it has just as much history.
