West Texas Plants You Can Propagate
There are plenty of plants you can find right here in Texas that are fairly easy to propagate. The Verbena in the picture above is not only easy to propagate and comes back again and again every year, it's also super easy to find here in Texas.
Coleus is another plant that's easily grown from a simple cutting.
It almost goes without saying that cactus are super, duper, amazingly easy to propagate and also super easy to relocate from where you found it out in a field to a pot on your porch.

All these cactuses were dug up from my gramas yard in places they would normally just be mowed down, so I saved and repurposed them.
Begonias are another really easy plant that you can take a little cutting of and easily end up with a full grown plant in no time.
Geraniums can be found in hanging baskets in all kinds of places; restaurants, patio bars, coffee shops and more, and there's a reason why...cause they're easy to keep alive and look great in hanging baskets.
Impatients are good as ground cover in gardens, in hanging baskets or just as potted plants.
