Filter just kicked off a new tour with Stone Temple Pilots but the band is already planning their next trek with a new run of headlining tour dates scheduled for October.

Stone Temple Pilots are not wasting any time putting the wheels in motion with new singer Chester Bennington. The new STP lineup has revealed plans to hit the road this fall, in addition to a new EP to be released on their own label due out around the same time.

Filter are the latest band to tap into crowdsourcing as a means to bring their latest disc ‘The Sun Comes Out Tonight’ to live stages across the world. Launching a new campaign through Indiegogo, leaving their fate in the hands (and pockets) of their fans, Filter will be putting all of the funds raised through their efforts towards an upcoming world tour.

Filter are back with their latest single 'What Do You Say,' and fans can now enjoy the song's lyric video.

During an interview with Filter frontman Richard Patrick about the band's upcoming album 'The Sun Comes Out Tonight,' the musician shared an unnerving story about his wife. As Patrick's wife was driving her Prius, which sports a 'Ban Assault Weapons' bumper sticker, the singer says a car full of "God-proclaiming gun nuts" began to throw trash at her car, almost running her off the road.

After getting word earlier this year that Filter had signed to a new label and was working on a new album tentatively titled 'Gurney and the Burning Books,' the official title and release date have been announced. Now called 'The Sun Comes Out Tonight,' the album will be released June 4 via Wind-up Records.

Cleveland rock veterans Filter have announced that Wind-up Records will be the new home for their sixth full-length album, tentatively titled 'Gurney and the Burning Books.' The album is slated to drop in May, while the disc's first single will hit the airwaves in March.
