System of a Down have never been afraid to embrace weirdness and it doesn't get stranger in Round 1 of the March Metal Madness tournament than seeing them square off against Poland's Satanic export Behemoth! "Chop Suey!" is one of the biggest hits of the 21st century, but it will have to content with iconoclastic "Ora Pro Nobis Lucifer" as each song seeks to advance to the second round in the Devil Horn Region.

"Chop Suey!" is one of the unlikeliest radio hits imaginable, as the verses are as frenetic as they come. Yet, System of a Down defied the odds and scored a massive hit with the song, which remains a staple at rock radio to this day. The track's energy is captivating, swaying between maddening and calming when Serj Tankian's clean voice comes in during the operatic chorus.

After overcoming a battle with leukemia, Behemoth mastermind Nergal crafted his masterpiece with The Satanist. "Ora Pro Nobis Lucifer" is heavily melodic and entirely evil with Nergal's barbaric barks spewing blasphemy with each line. If Behemoth can defeat System of a Down, "Ora Pro Nobis Lucifer" will have a continued shot at being proclaimed the Best Metal Song of the 21st Century.

So which song will move on to the second round of March Metal Madness 2016? Listen to both tracks and vote for either System of a Down's "Chop Suey!" or Behemoth's "Ora Pro Nobis Lucifer" as the Best Metal Song of the 21st Century in the poll below!

(This poll will end on Tuesday, March 8, at 9AM EST. Fans are able to vote once per hour, so keep coming back to make sure your favorite song wins!)
