A new study found men are more likely to respond to ads with shirtless men in them than half naked women.

According to Daily Mail, the study found advertising with half-naked men works better on straight guys than ads with half-naked women.

When a straight guy sees an ad with a shirtless, muscular dude, he's more likely to spend money more recklessly.

The researchers think it's because most of us don't have six-pack abs, so when we see a guy who does, it makes us want to spend money to prove we are rich and daring and worth having sex with anyway.

The effect doesn't happen with women looking at other women though.  When they see ads with other women in their underwear, it doesn't cause any major shift in their spending.
