Stranger things character return season 4

Stranger Things season4 is currently in production as we speak.  So far there is no work on a specific premier date but that’s pretty normal for this Netflix original series so we should be used to it by now.  I think it’s safe to say that Hopper is being held prisoner somewhere cold and far, far away from Hawkins, so thank goodness we didn’t lose him because I would’ve been done with this show otherwise.  Not many things can be said for sure about season 4 considering how tight lipped and secretive the show strives to be but some pictures posted to the Stranger Things 4 Updates Instagram account has made at lease one character return pretty clear.  To make it even more juicy this is a character who was part of the original cast in season 1.  Yeah, I wish I was talking about Barb but alas….I am not.  Everyone is wearing a mask in the pictures but it’s pretty hard to miss that iconic quaff of white hair.  Matthew Modine can be seen in a couple of posts on the Stranger Things 4 Updates Instagram page in the driver’s seat of a convertible on the set.  He’s wearing a mask just like everyone else but it’s him no doubt.  So I guess he’s gonna magically come back from the dead? Or did he even die like many of us thought in season one at the hands of the Demogorgon? I like to bat around the theory that he’s been wandering around in the Upside down this whole time but who knows.  Then again he could just be there filming some flashbacks for 11, guess we will just have to wait to find out.  All I know is I’M READY!
