I was talking to a co-worker this afternoon about some of the experiences that I have had in my nearly twenty plus years of being a part of this crazy business we call radio and it dawns on me every time how truly excited I am to be doing what I do for a living.

Whether it's still meeting some of my favorite rock stars, celebrities or just being out in the public hanging out with all of the amazing listeners I have never become jaded to any of it.

Sure it can become like any job you do, it has it's days where you wonder if it's worth all of the sacrifice it takes on family and relationships but I always remind myself how lucky I am to be still in a career that only a small percentage of people get a chance to do and for that I am grateful.

I have always said that if it becomes just a job I will hand up my headphones and pursue something else.  So I say if you have a dream no matter how hard you may think it may be follow it to the end so you have no regrets to look back on.  So I say go for it!
