Welcome back to the Lone Star State Shaq. That's right, the 7'1 NBA Hall of Famer has returned to Texas and has bought a home in North Dallas (Carrollton) according to this Instagram post from his real estate agent.

You can bet Shaq won't live in a shack. This is a nice place. Would you expect anything less? The final listing price clocked in at 1.22 million and spans over 5,200 square feet. Rooms full of windows, a gourmet kitchen, a library, a movie theatre, a fitness room, an outside pool with a waterfall, and a large covered patio. You name it, it has it. A castle big enough for the NBA superstar.

Along with the big move comes the big news. Big Chicken. Look out Texas, Shaq is bringing his restaurant with plans to open 50 locations in the state including Austin, San Antonio, Houston, and Dallas. The Nevada-based company prides itself on its chicken sandwiches, Cheez-It crusted mac and cheese, and handmade shakes.

Check out this video to learn about how the company was created.

You'll already find Big Chicken restaurants on board some Carnival Cruise ships, in New York, Seattle, and Los Angeles.

The food reviews that have come in so far have been good with patrons commenting on the food presentation and the friendly service. There's even a sandwich named after Charles Barkley, Shaq's long-time friend.

There are plans to expand the restaurant into West Texas and Oklahoma, so hopefully soon, we'll get some of that tasty chicken in Abilene.
