I really hope he liked North Dakota because it looks like he ended up staying there awhile....

Scottish indie band Belle & Sebastian are touring North America currently and were en route to a show in Minnesota when the band's tour bus pulled in to a North Dakota Wal-Mart to pick up some supplies. Members of the band and crew got off the bus and went into the store late at night and when the bus driver got back he thought everyone was back. Frontman Stuart Murdoch joked to The Current:

"I was coming out of the Walmart, and he was coming into the Walmart, and he was waving very happily, in a good mood......and that was the last time that we saw him.”

Drummer Richard Colburn simply sat down on a bench and waited, assuming someone in the band would realize their mistake and come back for him. Unfortunately for Richard, it was the middle of the night and everyone went to bed and no one noticed he was gone. After four hours on the bench he finally got a motel room for the night. The next morning the band woke up and realized they error and sent out an S.O.S. tweet to fans:

Lucky for the band a fan saw the message and was able to give Richard a ride to the Bismarck airport and he flew to Minneapolis. He made it in time for the show that night. The band now can have a good laugh about the whole incident and talked about it in an interview. The band now has a new system in place on the tour bus:
