The Seattle butcher has partnered with a local medicinal marijuana dispensary to marry two substances that are ways of life for millions: bacon and weed.

KOMO-TV reports the owner of BB Ranch Meats, William von Schneidau, can't recall what made him come up with the idea, but he took the remnants from the dispensary and fed them to some farm-raised pigs to infuse their meat with the marijuana.

He then sold the meat in a few different forms, such as pot bacon, and admitted the meat had a savory taste but that it didn't give him a buzz as he was hoping.

He plans to put the leftovers into making pot prosciutto.
