N'SYNC officially said "Bye Bye Bye" when they split up way back in 2002, but last night the group briefly reunited to celebrate member JC Chasez's 40th birthday (August 8), resulting in a throwback boy-band photo to end all others.

"Can't Stop The Feeling" singer Justin Timberlake, arguably the most successful solo member of the group, posted a photo of himself posing with Chasez, Chris Kirkpatrick, Lance Bass and hot dog aficionado Joey Fatone on Instagram, writing, "JC's 40th... And, if you don't know now you know..."

The birthday bash was a rare but welcome reunion for one of the biggest boy bands of the '90s and early 2000s. The group has rarely gotten together since announcing their indefinite hiatus nearly 14 years ago, though N'SYNC did reunite for an epic performance in honor of JT's Video Vanguard Award at the 2013 MTV Video Music Awards.

Meanwhile Bass, who is currently working a gay dating show called Finding Prince Charming for Logo, also shared his own photo with the birthday boy:

Diehard NSYNC fans have been begging and pleading for a proper musical reunion for well over a decade now, and while you should never say never, it's likely that this will be the last time we'll see these five together for a while, so lap it up while you can!
