No Lights This Year at Midlands Brightest House in Town
The house in Midland with the biggest and brightest Christmas display will be dark this year. That's right folks, not a single LED to be seen.
The house on the corner of Ashwood has been doing it big for years, every year getting bigger and better, all while gathering donations for the Jubilee Food Pantry.

Apparently the Thames family has been decking the corner of Ashwood in Midland for over 20 years.
All good things must come to an end I suppose and it turns out the family is moving to Colorado.
Ricky Thames, the man behind the lights, is ready to hand off the torch and hopes that someone will step up and carry on his families tradition of creating amazing light displays while giving something back to those in need.
