Mugger Arrested After Leaving His Birth Certificate at the Scene of His Crime

According to The Boston Globe, a 26-year-old man in a suburb of Boston snatched a woman's wallet.

But to snag the wallet, he had to drop the two bags that he was carrying.

Then, while he made his getaway, he forgot to pick the bags back up.

One of the bags is what did him in, not only did it have his fingerprints on it, but it also had his birth certificate and a letter addressed to him from his mother.

The man was arrested several hours later.  Police also report that the wallet only had $40 in it.
