The kings of metal were supported by the godfather of punk in Mexico City this past week, as Metallica and Iggy Pop played to massive crowds for three shows culminating with a the third and final gig last night (March 5). Loudwire had a photographer at the show last night, and you can see our exclusive gallery above.

The two legendary acts played shows this past Wednesday, Friday and Sunday at the huge Foro Sol outdoor venue in Mexico City, and fans at the final show witnessed the two acts coming together for a rendition of the Stooges' "T.V. Eye" during Metallica's encore. The Sunday night gig also saw Metallica performing the live debut of the Hardwired ... To Self-Destruct song "Dream No More."
