Jimmy Page will sit down with Soundgarden frontman Chris Cornell for a conversation next month in Los Angeles. The event will celebrate publication of the Led Zeppelin guitarist’s first photographic autobiography, appropriately titled, 'Jimmy Page.' The book will also become the first memoir to be released by a member of the legendary band.

‘An Evening With Jimmy Page in Conversation With Chris Cornell’ will take place at the Ace Hotel in Los Angeles at 8:30 PM on Nov. 12. Tickets for the event will be available at local retailers such as Amoeba Music in Hollywood and at Ticketmaster on Friday (Oct. 10). Ticketmaster will also hold an American Express pre-sale beginning tomorrow (Oct. 8) starting at 10 AM PT.

A lucky audience will witness the two legends as they debut unseen photos and memorabilia from Page’s archives. The guitarist will revisit memories of his life "from 13-year-old choirboy to sixties session musician, through the Yardbirds to Led Zeppelin and beyond.”

Jimmy Page’s self-titled autobiography contains over 600 photos alongside passport stamps, tour schedules, work visas and other memorabilia, all captioned by the legendary guitarist himself. In a press release Page said, “I wanted to make it as thorough as possible, so that meant trawling through all the thousands of files that photographers had taken, and pulling from my personal collection as well. There’s a photo of me playing the guitar by the fire at Bron-Yr-Aur cottage. It’s the most complete document that there’s ever going to be because of the amount of time that I’ve put into every aspect.”

‘Jimmy Page’ the autobiography will be released on Oct. 14. Fans can pre-order it here.
