Let's hear it for the ladies! 2017 gets off on the right foot with Lacey Sturm and Stitched Up Heart getting ready to share stages across the U.S.

The two female-led acts will hit the road beginning Jan. 20 in Margate, Fla., with shows booked through Valentine's Day in Pittsburgh, Pa. Joining Sturm and Stitched Up Heart on the run will be Palisades and Letters From the Fire, making for what should be a rocking bill.

Former Flyleaf vocalist Lacey Sturm made a triumphant return to the music scene in 2016 with her Life Screams solo debut disc. The album generated the singles "Impossible," "Life Screams," "I'm Not Laughing" and "Rot."

For Stitched Up Heart, 2016 was a breakout year, with the band finishing second in the voting for Best New Artist recently in the 6th Annual Loudwire Music Awards. Led by vocalist Mixi, the group enjoyed a solid start to their career with the Never Alone album, which yielded the singles "Finally Free," "Monster" and "Catch Me When I Fall."

The timing of the tour will be perfect for upstart rockers Palisades, who will be releasing their self-titled disc on Jan. 20. Letters From the Fire, meanwhile, are promoting their 2016 effort, Worth the Pain, which features the songs "Give in to Me" and the recently released title track.
