El Paso NICU Babies Steal the Show in These Halloween Costumes
One of my favorite parts of Halloween is seeing how creative people of all ages get when it comes to putting together their Halloween costumes and El Pasoans sure know how to get creative!
Halloween is all about costumes, candy and spooky surprises, but some of the cutest Halloween celebrations and costumes in El Paso are happening inside the hospital!
local hospitals to dress up newborns for holidays throughout the year, and while every celebration brings its share of cuteness, Halloween might just be the most fun to see. From tiny pumpkins to pint-sized superheroes, the creative costumes make for some unforgettable photo opportunities.

Staff at The Hospitals of Providence recently shared a few adorable photos on Facebook featuring newborn babies dressed up in adorable Halloween costumes. It's become a sweet tradition for all hospitals in El Paso and I look forward to seeing the adorable photos every year!
Among the two photos that was shared by The Hospital of Providence was a special milestone celebration for baby Aurelia, who marked 100 days in the hospital's Level 4 Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU). Staff celebrated the occasion with a touching message, sharing that the little one has been growing stronger every day.
"100 days old, 100 days of utter sweetness," the hospital wrote, celebrating 100 days of precious moments and looking forward to a lifetime of sweetness ahead.

Another photo featured a tiny baby dressed as Superman, accompanied by a playful Halloween message from NICU staff: "Twas the night before Halloween, and all through our NICU, our littlest Superman was tucked in just right, dreaming of costumes, candy and tomorrow's Halloween delight!"
But my favorite part of this photo is the little smirk that this tiny Superman has. I like to think he is saving the world in his dreams and that’s what brings the smile to his little face.

El Paso Children’s Hospital made sure to fill our timelines with precious NICU Halloween photos too!
In a post shared to their Facebook page, staff wrote that their NICU babies dressed up as the superheroes that they are, because NICU babies really are tiny superheroes!
“Just because they aren’t old enough to eat candy, doesn’t mean they can’t enjoy the Halloween fun,” read the Facebook post.
The post featured NICU babies in Spiderman, Batman, Hulk, and Superwoman onesies!
While Halloween can bring plenty of tricks and treats, these photos are a reminder that sometimes the sweetest moments come in the tiniest packages.
