New West El Paso Restaurant – Meet The Starlight Gastropub

El Paso foodies have something really special to try now as the legendary Chef Rulis opens a new spot on the west side near his current location on N. Mesa.

Chef Rulis is very well known in El Paso. From casual diners to hardcore foodies, he's made quite a name for himself with spots like Ruli's International Kitchen which was featured on Diners, Drive Inns and Dives.

He recently transformed his international kitchen into Sazon by Chef Rulis and has created not just a great restaurant but an awesome and unique dining experience. Read more and see some pics here.

He, along with Chef Nikko Gravalos, have now set up shop right across from Sazon by Chef Ruli's at the Starlite Gastropub. Located at 4172 N Mesa Street, Starlite is more than just a restaurant, it's a true destination more than worth the drive no matter how short or far.

Meanwhile, just across the parking lot, sits Sazon by Chef Rulis. Formerly Rulis International Kitchen, it recently went through its own makeover and now offers delicious food and its own unique dining experience. It is truly not your usual shmu-sial when it comes to eating out. You can get your drink on too.

On top of the food, you will also learn a lot about food, cooking and the history of both, including the vast number of cuisines and cultures that have combined over the last 300 years or so to create the food we enjoy today.
