Once again, El Paso is snubbed by the rest of Texas. Hank Hill's favorite brew is now available in Texas but El Paso's "dry". Which Hank would say, (like his son Bobby), "ain't right".

Fans of the tv show King Of The Hill know that the main character, Hank, and his crew love to stand around in the alley, working out the problems of the world and Arlen, Texas over a few ice cold beers.

Just as Homer Simpson chugs Duff and Peter Griffin knocks back Pawtucket Patriot Ales with wild abandon, Hank and his crew have Alamo beer ... now, you can too.

Alamo beer is more than just a prop in the animated series, it is now a genuine, real life product that Texans all over the state can enjoy while relaxing, watching the Cowboys or bbqing ... strictly with propane of course - "taste the meat, not the heat" ya'll.

Can You Get Alamo Beer In El Paso?

Dammit Bobby - the answer is no. Alamo Beer is, for now, only available in Texas at HEB grocery stores. El Paso doesn't have an HEB though so, if ever there was a time for them to build one here, I say dooooo eeeeeet. Now.

In the meantime, I'm doing my best to get us some though. I'm in talks as we speak with the good people at Glazers ... they're the ones that keep my beloved Coors Light flowing in the 915 ... to see if I can get us any. For now ...

Cross your fingers. Alamo Beer is only available for a limited time so, HEB or no HEB, we gotta think of something pretty quick here. Even if we have to hire a guy with a cool Firebird and a trucker with a lazy Bassett hound to go get it for us.

LOOK: Best Beers From Every State

To find the best beer in each state and Washington D.C., Stacker analyzed January 2020 data from BeerAdvocate, a website that gathers user scores for beer in real-time. BeerAdvocate makes its determinations by compiling consumer ratings for all 50 states and Washington D.C. and applying a weighted rank to each. The weighted rank pulls the beer toward the list's average based on the number of ratings it has and aims to allow lesser-known beers to increase in rank. Only beers with at least 10 rankings to be considered; we took it a step further to only include beers with at least 100 user rankings in our gallery. Keep reading to find out what the best beer is in each of the 50 states and Washington D.C.
