Waking up in Midland-Odessa from a long night of adult fun can be cumbersome.  Especially if alcohol is involved.

However, what may be fun in the late-night hours, the morning after can oftentimes bring pain, suffering, and despair for it all to go away.

What Causes Hangovers?

Consuming large portions of alcohol can wreak havoc on the body.  It can lead to dehydration, irritation of the lining of the stomach walls, and electrolyte imbalance.

Results can vary from person to person. However, many people experience headaches, nausea, and fatigue.

What Can Relieve A Hangover?
Over the centuries, there have been many people who claim to know the magical recipe for curing a hangover.  Despite whatever anyone says, the best way to gain some relief is to rehydrate yourself.

Eating carbohydrates such as toast or fruits can also contribute if your stomach is well enough to hold it down.  This helps bring blood sugar levels back to their normal levels.

Midland-Odessa Supposed Cure For A Hangover

One thing around town that a lot of people say is that some good wholesome Menudo or Pazole can help make you feel better.

To be honest, I don't believe that.   However, I have no means of comparison.  One thing about me is that I don't usually get hungover, ever.  It's my superpower.

Despite that, I am unsure how menudo or pazole could help cure a hangover just as well as any other broth-based meal.

However, some people swear it actually works!
