WHAT IS LANDMAN?

The Landman series is a show created by Taylor Sheridan that focuses on the oil and gas industry in West Texas. Billy Bob Thorton plays the main character, known as the "Landman." His character is a Crisis Executive, who is considered the problem solver of the field. The show's main plot is to tell the story of roughnecks and billionaires who fuel the oil and gas industry.

West Texans gave their hot take on the show and most love the series! Being from West Texas, I know how picky we can be when we are being portrayed in Hollywood. The fact that most people liked the series was a shock.

Though most liked it there were some negatives. People did mention they could do without the ex-wife and daughter in the show. Even though they can be extra it's something easy to put up with to enjoy the rest of the series.
