The people of Odessa, Texas, have a pretty good selection when it comes to options of where they want to grab a bite to eat.  We offer a wide range of major selections, including those found at other places like McDonald's, Pizza Hut, and Whataburger, among others.  Granted, we could always use a wider selection of options; however, we are a small city, so it's understandable that our selections are somewhat limited.

The Rise of Oceana Grill and Seafood

If you've happened to drive on 42nd Street by the Music City Mall, you may have noticed the abandoned building that sits on the outskirts of the mall parking lot. This area is prime real estate, as it occupies a location with a large amount of traffic, thanks to the mall and 42nd Street.  However, recently, someone has decorated the building with a large sign saying that the building will be transformed into a new restaurant that says Oceana Grill and Seafood, coming soon!

Digging Deeper For Information

I was understandably intrigued about a new restaurant coming to town.  (The kids today would call me a "big back")  I did some research on what this restaurant is and will be.  Unfortunately, there was very little information on what exactly this establishment will be.  Initially, I thought this was going to be an extension of Oceana Grill.  A popular restaurant located on Bourbon Street in New Orleans.  However, that doesn't seem to be the case since the logos are different.

So What Now?

It is unfortunate that the only information we really have at the moment is some decor on the building.  Granted, this is still very early in the process of converting the old abandoned restaurant into the new Oceana Grill and Seafood.  We will definitely be keeping our eye out for more information.

Seafood Lovers! Here's All The Remaining Red Lobsters In Texas

Red Lobster has been in the news throughout 2024 as the restaurant grapples with bankruptcy restructuring. More than 100 Red Lobsters closed, 10 here in Texas. But not to worry! There are plenty of remaining options in Texas (you might just have to travel a bit).
