The hit TV show King of the Hill was a television show which ran from January 1997 to September 2009 and successfully aired 14 glorious seasons.  The show follows main protagonist Hank Hill, a middle-aged Texan who works selling propane.  His adventures include what normal other middle-aged Texans experience as they navigate work, family life, and drinking a cold one with his friends.

A Real World Beer Straight Out Of A Cartoon

Fans of the show are well aware that the adult beverage of choice of the characters on the show is called Alamo Beer.  Oddly enough, there is a real-world beer company located in San Antonio also called Alamo Beer Company.

In celebration of the show, Alamo Beer Company has released a new beer inspired by the beer in the TV show.  Since they share the same name, the design of the beer can is mimicked to look just like the cartoon adaptation.

Fans of the show are, in a sense, "nerding out".  Excited that they can drink the same beer that can be seen being enjoyed by the characters on King of the Hill.  It is speculated that the beer will do exceedingly well, judging by the reaction people have given it on social media.  To have this much excitement over a product modeled after a show that officially ended over 15 years ago is pretty impressive!

Alamo Beer will be available at the Alamo Beer Company brewery in San Antonio and also at select HEB stores beginning July 28th.
