After all, everyone gets a smile on their face when they see the sign for the gas station right? Some Buc-ee's are bigger than others, while others may be smaller than expected. Regardless, Buc-ee's is a stop for many in the state whenever there's a road trip happening.

Well, the pumps at Buc-ee's are outfitted with something you might not have seen recently. They're none other than bird spikes. But...what do you bird spikes do exactly? According to Bird-B-Gone, the spikes stop birds from roosting on the pumps themselves.

But with a name like that, some might be worried that birds will be harmed by them. Thankfully though, it doesn't harm the bird at all, rather it just makes it tough for a bird to simply land on the pump itself.

This in turn, avoids the birds from annoying us, and us being annoyed by the birds. Plus, it stops the birds from...relieving themselves on the pumps. So it's a good thing we have those bird spikes right?
