What Happened to Amarillo’s “Two for the Road” Dusty and Nikki Green?

Once upon a time, Amarillo was home to a couple who traveled the world and filmed their journeys for PBS. The couple was Dusty and Nikki Green, and the show was Two for the Road, which aired on PBS.

Why Two for the Road Ended

Back in April 2025, the Greens announced that they were stopping production on Two for the Road due to a lack of interest from sponsors and partnerships.

With that, they said goodbye to the show and set off on a different adventure that took them in a completely different direction and state.

According to a post on the Two for the Road Facebook page, the Greens are now innkeepers!

So we have news! Wanted to give you guys a heads up that we have officially begun an exciting new chapter! And we're loving it more than we could have imagined. We're excited to announce officially that we are the new innkeepers at the beautiful and historic Flora House Bed & Breakfast and event venue here in downtown Denver!

The Greens made the move to Denver and are now enjoying life running the Flora House Bed and Breakfast. They have been in this new position for a couple of months, but finally wanted to share their new adventure.

Will Two for the Road Return?

No, it's still not likely that the TV show will ever come back, unfortunately. But although we're not traveling much ourselves, being here at Flora House gives us the ability to be among all the wonderful travelers and adventurers from around the world who come through our doors and find peace and rest in our comfy beds.

The Flora House is a renovated and restored 1892 Victorian Mansion located at 1430 Race Street in Denver, Colorado. A stay at Flora House typically runs about $200 per night, depending on season and promotions.

The bed and breakfast has seven rooms with private bathrooms. If you need the entire house, you can reserve it for events or family gatherings.

Although we are still saddened that Two for the Road is gone, we are excited for this new adventure for the Greens.
