
3 Suspects Arrested After McDonald’s Armed Robbery and Theft of Nuggets
Stealing from McDonald's? Bad. Armed robbery? Even worse. Three people in Lubbock are looking at serious time all for some McNuggets and ranch dressing.
The robbery went down on Lubbock and three suspects in Lubbock have been taken in to custody after afterwards.

Alejandro Montoya, 23, Elijha Elizondo, 21 and one other suspect were all arrested on Wednesday according to KAMC. Early on Wednesday, police were called to McDonald's at 2433 S. Loop 289 for a robbery in progress. As officers arrived they saw a vehicle attempting to flee westbound. Officers were able to stop the vehicle and take the three suspects into custody.
KAMC reported that employees at the McDonald's told officers that the suspects were in the drive-through and Montoya allegedly flashed his weapon at an employee and demanded drinks. He then reached into the window and grabbed nuggets and ranch.
Stolen Items Recovered
According to KAMC, police officers found the stolen property in the front and back of the car as well as a rifle that had also been stolen. Officers say Montoya had two outstanding warrants and Elizondo was found with a "brown leafy substance" which he said was mushrooms.
All three were taken to the Lubbock County Detention Center.
