Texas Mother and Daughter Busted For Giving Illegal Butt Injections
A nationwide crackdown on illegal butt injections nabbed a Texas mother and daughter who stand accused of attempting to inject a woman with a substance that they themselves weren't even sure of.
Consuelo Dal Bo, 56 and Isabella Dal Bo, 18 were arrested earlier this week in a sting operation. The mother and daughter thought they were meeting a client whom they are charged $6,000 for the butt injection according to the New York Post. The woman was actually an undercover cop with the Houston Police Department.
The butt injector duo were allegedly going to inject the officer with a brown liquid that wasn't labeled and the New York Post reported that the mother offered the officer a Xanax to calm the officer down.
The two suspects allegedly claimed they were “not even sure what was in the bottles.”
The sting was orchestrated by the Houston Police Department’s Major Offenders Division, the Food and Drug Administration and Homeland Security.
Both mother and daughter are charged with unlawfully practicing medicine, and the mother is facing an additional drug charge.
The FDA has warned against using "injectable dermal fillers for body contouring" for years. Warning that it could lead to long-term pain, injuries, and even death.
The New York Post also reported that silicone stays in the body forever.
