Matt Smith is not ready to concede the election just yet in the race for District 19.

The battle for second place in the Republican Primary for District 19 is not over according to Matt Smith who is only 193 votes behind Abraham Enriquez. If Smith were to overcome that deficit, his campaign would be in a runoff with Tom Sell who received just over 40% of the vote on Tuesday night.

In a Facebook post on Thursday, Smith said that there is still about 1% of the vote that hasn't been counted yet. Longtime political watchers say that overcoming the 193 vote tally would be hard, but it is possible. For now, Smith says "No concession".

Smith was in second place most of the night until after midnight when more numbers came in and Enriquez moved into second place.

No word yet on when all the votes will be counted or if Smith will request a recount.
