Movie in the Park – Tuesday, August 5

Grab a blanket and head to Rodgers Park for a special Tuesday night edition of Movies in the Park. The featured film is the brand-new animated hit, Despicable Me 4!

  • Pre-movie fun starts at 6:00 p.m.

  • Movie begins at sunset

Thanks to generous support from Wellpoint and DePelchin Children’s Center, this fun night under the stars is free for everyone.

National Night Out – Tuesday, August 5

Also on August 5, Rodgers Park will host National Night Out from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. This annual event brings neighbors together to build stronger, safer communities. Enjoy a school supply giveaway, hot dog dinner (while supplies last, courtesy of United Supermarkets), live entertainment, and stick around for the movie to wrap up the night!

Summer Showcase Concert: Mojave Sol

Wednesday, August 7th from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at the Moonlight Musicals Amphitheater in Mackenzie Park. Enjoy live music from Mojave Sol in the Meadows Courtyard. Part of Lubbock’s Showcase concert series celebrating local bands and outdoor summer evenings.
