A Major Grand Prize!

This isn’t just a few friends strumming guitars in a garage. We’re talking full-blown musical warfare, with a $3,000 grand prize and bragging rights on the line. Second and third place bands will also take home cash, but make no mistake—the top spot is where the glory’s at!

The action kicks off at 6:00 PM sharp on the Indoor Pavilion Stage on West Plaza, and if previous years are any indication, it’s going to be one of the loudest, most energetic nights of the entire Curry County Fair.

Event coordinator Terri Chavez said via press release:

“This event keeps getting bigger and louder every year. It’s a great platform for emerging talent and a crowd favorite at the fair.”

How Do You Sign Up?

Bands of all genres are welcome—rock, country, punk, metal, blues, or even a funky accordion polka fusion (hey, it’s New Mexico—they do it all). If you’ve got the sound and the guts to go head-to-head with the region’s best, you’ve got until August 1st to enter. Just visit www.curryeventscenter.com/fair to get registered.

The event has become a signature night of the Curry County Fair, drawing both serious musicians and fans looking to discover the next big thing. It’s the kind of show where you might see your neighbor’s garage band blow the roof off the pavilion—or catch a future Grammy winner playing a hometown stage.

Whether you’re slinging a guitar or just showing up to support the local scene, this is one you don’t want to miss.
