East Texas Haunted Houses Guaranteed to Give You Nightmares
(Mix 93-1) Ghosts, zombies, and ghouls of all kinds are getting prepared to scare the living daylights out of unsuspecting East Texans. Halloween is quickly approaching, and kids are narrowing down what they want to dress up as when they go trick-or-treating on Friday, October 31. It's not just kids, but adults are dressing up too, whether to go out trick-or-treating with the kids, as they hand out candy, or going to a party, adults are getting in on the action too!
Massive Halloween Displays Spotted Across East Texas
With Halloween knocking on our door, you can't help but notice all of the oversized Halloween decorations and inflatables that are popping up in our neighborhoods. Just the other day, I was driving through the Hollytree neighborhood in Tyler and noticed what seemed to be a 15-foot-tall Grim Reaper peering over a cinder block wall of a gated community. This thing could really frighten someone if they saw it in their peripheral vision!
Those 10 to 20-foot-tall skeletons are just as popular and can be seen all over East Texas. Some homeowners even dress them up in costumes, too.

Seeing how we are nearing the height of spooky season, many East Texans are looking to get their scare on and adrenaline pumping by making their way through a maze of dark hallways in a haunted house. Those who are brave enough to enter a haunted house will be greeted by some pretty demented ghouls, clowns, zombies, and other unimaginable creatures. They will see some pretty gruesome crime scenes, weird clowns, and masked figures wielding chainsaws.
