Unclaimed $200,000 Texas Two-Step Jackpot Could Soon Be Lost Forever
Attention Texas Lottery players – check your numbers ASAP; otherwise, you could forfeit $200,000. And that would literally be a crying shame.
It was just last week that I reported on a $1 million jackpot that remained unclaimed. The winner had until last Saturday (August 1) to claim the jackpot, or they would lose it. Sadly, it appears they didn’t claim their prize in time, as I never saw a press release stating otherwise.

In a press release issued today, the Texas Lottery announced that time is running out to claim a $200,000 Texas Two-Step jackpot. The winning ticket was for the drawing held on March 9 and will expire on September 5. The ticket matched all four of the white ball numbers drawn (1-2-21-23) and the red Bonus Ball (19).
Where the Winning Ticket Was Sold
The lucky ticket was bought at H-E-B Food Store 079 Convenience, located at 909 10th St., in Floresville.
The winner must have the ticket validated at a Texas Lottery claim center by 5 p.m. local time on Friday, September 4. Find the claim center nearest to you at this location. A word of caution, though – claim center hours sometimes change unexpectedly, so check the Texas Lottery website for updates.
While I would advise against it, you can mail your ticket to the claim center for validation. It must be postmarked on or before the September 5 expiration date and mailed to:
