Edmonton Oilers VS Dallas Stars

Looks like we have a rematch of last year's Western Conference Finals in the NHL. With the Toronto Maple Leafs losing last night. The Dallas Stars will have home field advantage through the Stanley Cup Final. Game 1 for this series will be in Dallas on Wednesday with a puck drop at 7PM. Some folks already had plans that night at American Airlines Center, but you will have to reschedule those for Thursday.

Katy Perry Moved to Thursday May 22nd

For anyone that had purchased tickets for the original date, they're still good for Thursday's show. This is the second time in a week that Katy Perry's concert had to be rescheduled due to a playoff series. On May 15th, she was scheduled to play in Denver. That had to get moved due to the Oklahoma City Thunder playing the Denver Nuggets at Ball Arena on that night.

Fun Fact: Dallas Mavericks Get First Priority at American Airlines Center

According to an article with the Fort Worth Star Telegram. The way events at American Airlines Center work is that the Dallas Mavericks get first priority, then the Dallas Stars, finally concerts/stand up. So if the Mavericks and Stars are both in the playoffs at the same time, they work around the Mavericks schedule first for their home games. The Dallas Mavericks are believed to be leaving American Airlines Center when their agreement with the venue ends in 2031. We will see where the Mavericks move to in about six years.
