Most Texans have close ties to the military. They've either served or have loved someone who has. That's why we take honoring our veterans seriously, and look for any opportunity to do so.

That's where Give A Ruck comes in.

It's an event modeled off the weighted ruck walks that are an integral part of military training. In this case, participants are encouraged to weigh their pack with items that can be donated to our homeless community - essentials like hygiene and first aid supplies, ready to eat meals and food, water, and sports drinks, among other things these folks could use.

You'll then get to choose between a one-mile, five-mile, or ten-mile march in honor of a veteran.

More details about this incredibly and rewarding event can be found here. Special thanks to the Carlson Law Firm for their dedication to this event and others that serve and pay tribute to the men and women who've given of themselves for our nation.
