The Crawfish Nightmare Continues

In case you haven't heard, crawfish season is TERRIBLE this year. Typically in Texas, eight or nine dollars is what you pay for a pound of crawfish out of Louisiana recently. That price has gone up to fourteen to sixteen dollars a pound for crawfish. Yes almost double the price for the same crawfish you got last year. The reason for this is the drought in Louisina was really bad, so the crop is really low right now. Well one lady bought some and the footage she got is CRAZY.

Now imagine this, you're paying more money for your crawfish and then you go to enjoy them to see this. TikTok User oatsfinessinn showed us what her recent order of crawfish looked like. The video starts with five wolf spiders already on her plate. One of them suckers is as big as some of the crawfish she is eating. She pulled another two out of the pot she was cooking.

Hopefully the taste of steamed spider guts didn't ruin her meal. I am sure some folks would have puked or thrown away the meal after seeing all these spiders. All I'm trying to say is the 2024 crawfish season will go down as one of the worst. Low crop, high prices, and now I got to worry about spiders in my order? Hell no, shut it down. We will try again in 2025.
