Community & Dreams: Nacogdoches Event Celebrates Perseverance with ‘Princess and the Frog’
Imagine being in a movie and experiencing it, not just watching it on the screen. Interactive movies have been around for a long time; one of the most popular among adults is the Rocky Horror Picture Show.

If you have seen how that goes, that is how this will be, but on a kid scale. That is what Nacogdoches Historic Sites is promising as they host their interactive screening of Disney's "The Princess and the Frog".
This won't be your typical movie night. It's on Tuesday, March 11th, at 6:30 PM at the Zion Hill Historic Site located at 324 N. Lanana St. Nacogdoches, Texas.
Spring Break Fun In Nacogdoches Tuesday Night
Families will gather starting at 5:30 at the venue that will be transformed into a vibrant bayou for one night only. Costumes will add another layer to what is happening on screen.
Everyone is encouraged to dress as their favorite character from the movie. You could be a frog, a princess, or any critter in the swamp.
Princess Tiana herself will be making a special appearance to greet children and pose for photos before the movie. The event is being offered for free thanks to help from White Electric Inc.
Find Your Seat And Get Your Props
Your kids will be a big part of the night, and everyone will be given a bag of interactive items. All are encouraged to sing along and celebrate our community and dreams with the theme of the movie.
