Single Vehicle Roll Over Near Trawick
The Lilbert-Looneyville Volunteer Fire Department was dispatched late Saturday night to a rollover accident. The crash occurred on State Highway 204 near Trawick at 11:49 PM.
According to KTRE, first responders were called to the late-night wreck, where only a single sedan was involved. State Highway 204 is very dark at that time of night, and the cleanup continued until well after 1 AM in the early morning hours on Sunday.
Personnel from the Lilbert-Looneyville VFW who were called to the wreck found a black four-door sedan that had run off the road and rolled multiple times. Miraculously, there was no entrapment.
Driver Gets Out Of Horribly Wrecked Vehicle Near Trawick
The driver of the black sedan was able to get out of the wreckage without assistance. They were outside of the vehicle when first responders arrived on the scene.
The person was taken by EMS to a nearby hospital for treatment. Information on their condition after they were evaluated was not available at the time.

We can say that they were very lucky. According to The Patel Firm, in 2019, 6,358 occupants of vehicles lost their lives in rollovers. They accounted for a full 28 percent of all passenger vehicle deaths that year.
