How Many Texas Tech Football Season Passes Get Sold Each Year?

This year actually saw an increase in the season pass allotment- a whopping 33,000 season tickets were available, according to KCBD. Texas Tech had increased the number available to purchase over the last year, "due to significant demand."

This inventory also includes "premium" season seating, like luxury and club seats.

When Do Texas Tech Season Passes Go On Sale?

Season tickets generally go on sale at the beginning of the calendar year, with some time set aside for last year's season pass holders to renew.

This means it only took a few short months for the season passes to officially sell out, months before any football action is set to begin in August.

When Do Single Game Tickets Go On Sale?

Want to get in the action, but don't have a season pass? No worries. Single ticket sales begin early for Red Raider Club members, Monday, May 12th at 8:30 a.m.

The Texas Tech Blarney Stone

Did you know Texas Tech University is home to a piece of the Blarney Stone? According to legend, the stone was discovered by a group of engineers. After doing testing on the stone, it was discovered to be part of the Blarney Stone. On St. Patrick's Day 1939, Texas Tech unveiled the stone. Visitors can find it in front of the old Electrical Engineering Building.
